NSSS is a partnering organization with Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA), Shillong, for the implementation of this project in two (2) C&RD Blocks, viz, Mairang and Mawkyrwat C&RD Blocks, with the objectives to restore and conserve natural resources within the villages by sustainable forest management, livelihood improvement and institutional strengthening, thereby contributing to conservation of environment, biodiversity and uplifting the socio-economic conditions of the people in the State of Meghalaya.
