It is supported by KZE/MISEROR, Germany anchored through Caritas India. The program is implemented on the PLDA (People Led Development Approach) mode. NSSS operates this program through the active participation and collaboration of the farmers in promoting sustainable crops and enriching organic farming practices in the region - with an aim of empowering communities towards leading healthier life through improving their food sovereignty, sufficient food production and nutritional intake as per their cultural food habits. It also promotes the adoption of indigenous seeds for cultivation and creates a future opportunity for better marketing of such organic products. The farmers are also linked with different line departments in strengthening and improving their agricultural activities.
